Strobe Light Policy
Heart Of The Beast’s Strobe Light Policy
HOBT is working on refraining from the use of flashing lights as it is often a trigger for seizures. If a show for a partnering theater company is being hosted at our theater, we ask that they do not use strobe lights. Thank you for your willingness in making our theater accessible.
Sensory Needs
If you need to get your tickets and seating before the rest of the audience is present you're welcome to come no more than 30 minutes beforehand and a staff person will assist you.
Performance Content Notes
Content warnings for shows are typically found in the event announcements and in the program on the night of the show (ex. Audience age suggestion, use of fog, violent content, etc)
Feedback
The HOBT staff is working on identifying barriers and improving accessibility within our theater and during performances.
If you have an access request, questions, or feedback, please contact Elina at [email protected] with "accessibility" in the subject line. They will get back to you shortly.
