In the Heart of the Beast Puppet + Mask Theatre, in residence with the Basilica of Saint Mary, presents the story of Our Lady of Guadalupe
In 1531 on the hills outside Mexico City, the Blessed Virgin, crowned with the sun and clad in stars, appeared to the Aztec peasant Juan Diego. Now a great Basilica stands on this site and each year millions and millions of people come to pray to this Lady of Guadalupe.
