Volunteering is a great way to be part of the HOBT community and to meet like-spirited people.
We are currently looking for volunteers to be part of La Natividad, in December 2016! In the tradition of Las Posadas, join us as we move through the neighborhood searching for a welcoming place. Many hands are needed, many voices are appreciated. Choose from the remaining roles listed below, and you’ll see the show for free. We eagerly welcome your contributions to this wonderful celebration!
Be A Guide Along the Road
Help guide the audience as it moves from place to place along the procession route. The Guides also pull out traffic barricades before the audience fills 15th Avenue, and return them to the curb after the
procession has passed.
BEST FOR: physically active adults who can be alert to traffic patterns while enjoying audience interactions.
TIME COMMITMENT: 1 rehearsal/orientation and 2 or more performances.
SEEING THE SHOW: free ticket to a show
Email scottie Hall at firstname.lastname@example.org to sign up!**
Volunteers make it possible for HOBT to offer community based art events at our theatre, while acquiring hands-on puppet & mask building skills. More than 350 individuals volunteered nearly 6,000 hours to HOBT during the last year. They performed tasks such as ushering, assisting with the building of shows, MayDay crew, and working on administrative projects or serving on organizational committees.
Please fill out the form below if you would like to an HOBT volunteer. Thank you!
