Bring your group or class on an educational and entertaining excursion to our Puppet Studio & Classroom! We offer standard and customized Field Trips for youth, adults and people with special needs. Every field trip includes a puppetry demonstration and a short hands-on craft workshop. Please call for pricing information. Note: We do not schedule field trips from March 31 through mid May due to the MayDay Parade build schedule.

Four Standard Workshops:

Rod Puppets · Toy Theatre · Hand Puppets · Mask Making

Rod Puppets

Learn to build and animate simple rod puppets. This type of puppetry can vary widely in its level of difficulty and complexity, from the simplest 2-D rod puppet to a more complicated 3-D piece with moving parts.

Rod puppetry can be integrated into any curriculum to enhance learning and storytelling.
